Summary

Development of service sector becomes the imperative economic growth and structural changes. Professional services, the purpose of which is to suggest creative and innovative solutions of customers’ problems are particularly important in this aspect. Contemporary business of professional services (often it is called simply consulting business), as well as other businesses face multiple challenges – complexity, globalization, dynamism; thus it has to solve both own and customers’ problems. The article analyses the research problem – what determines the variety professional services’ innovations and the following aim is formulated – to reveal the variety of professional services’ innovations. To attain the aim the following three objectives were formulated: 1) to disclose peculiarities of professional services and their providers, 2) to analyse the factors determining the variety of professional services’ innovations, 3) referring to the results of theoretical analysis to illustrate possible innovations of internal audit analysis. In fulfilling the objectives the following research methods were applied: analysis of scientific literature, logical analysis, methods of comparison and generalization. Peculiarities of professional services and their providers are defined by solutions if unique (not duplicated) business problems. In addition, it is common for all professional services that their providers must possess excellent communicative, advisory, organizational, planning, leadership, cooperative and teamwork abilities. Innovations of professional services manifest in new or essentially modified concepts of existing services and / or service provision systems and processes, links with customers, infrastructure of service provision, business models and so on. They are conditioned by different factors, which can be divided into two interrelated groups: 1) factors related to the service and 2) the factors depending on organization’s relations with customers and other stakeholders. Though all these factors open many possibilities to offer customers innovations of professional services; however, according to scientists, service modular structure and accesses to customers’ roles change are more perspective. Any chosen access to professional services’ innovations requires a motivated customer being involved into the innovative process. The article highlights the importance of the factors determining the creation of professional services’ innovations, which is unequal for different services of this group. Referring to the results of the theoretical analysis, the article illustrates how internal audit service innovations could be offered to the market. It is evident that this projection of the internal audit services’ innovations inspired by the theoretical findings should be checked empirically. This is the essential limitation of the research. Despite the article reduces the gap of knowledge on professional services’ innovations and discloses how organizations could offer their customers innovative and more valuable solutions of their problems.

Summary

Nowadays school suffers from such problems as weak learners‘ motivation, life in destitute or problematic families, drug abuse, bullying between schoolchildren, occupation problems, pregnancy cases, etc. A school is not able to solve these problems alone, so it is essential to cooperate with community. To have good relations with community is one of the most important points if an organization wants to be successful.
School heads, social pedagogues and leaders of territorial community institutions of the surveyed city face these problems as well because they are responsible for the interaction of a school and territorial community, its efficiency and management.
The aim of the research is to reveal of school and territorial community interaction.
The objectives of the research are as follows: To define main management conceptions of school and community interaction; To reveal theoretical and legal aspects of school and community interaction in the European Union context and reformed Lithuanian education system; To analyse the research of school and community interaction abroad and in Lithuania; Referring to the results of the research, to discuss the management of school and community interaction.
The issue of the research. Every educational institution has to interact with territorial community as well as together prevent the negative phenomena or try to minimise them.
That is why in this context the following issues emerge: What interaction is there between school and territorial community institutions?
The methods of the research: Scientific literature and data analysis; Survey-in-written and questionnaire; Statistical and qualitative analysis of content data.
The following research of school and territorial community interactionrevealed that problems at schools existed, therefore every educational institution has to interact with its territorial community. However, institutions‘ representatives are of the opinion that the interaction is not developed enough and schools tend to be incommunicative. On the other hand, school heads and social pedagogues do not try to delimitate schools from community but different reforms and changes require a lot of time and effort, so there is not enough attention for interaction. There is also no common cooperation strategy between institutions and that causes weak interaction. Not enough attention is paid to the management of school and territorial community interaction, sometimes it is elemental, spontaneous, having no clear aims or prediction of expected results and no strategy.
